I saw this short film at the Montreal film festival in 1998. It debuted ahead of "resurrection" (an interesting se7en-esque Christopher Lambert vehicle). Sufficient to say, it doesn't even wait for the the opening credits to roll before it shocks you, grabs you, throttles you, and jolts you back into your seat, leaving you wondering why every major movie doesn't start off with such intensity. It's that same intensity that follows a group of people trapped in an underground series of caves. Within twenty minutes, mankind has descended to primitive depths, a sophisticated horror creeps into every word spoken aloud and the sudden ending twists your mind into a painful knot that begs for a sequel.
