This low budget jungle adventure mixes elements from John Ford's Mogambo as well as The Most Dangerous Game. Rich sportsman, Martin Boddey and his wife, Vera Fusek, hire a couple of white hunter types so he can bag an elephant. The two hunters, John Bentley and Alan Tarlton take an instant dislike to the man. He is an insanely jealous man and believes his wife is stepping out with every man she meets.
After several days Boddey decides that the wife is a little to friendly with Bentley and decides to take action.
He shoots Tarlton and his gun bearer and forces Bentley and Fusek to head out into the jungle. He will give them a head start and then he is going to hunt them.
The rest of the film is how the two make their way to safety. Or so they think. Not much here beyond the on location shooting. The acting is rather stiff and a better director might have improved the end product.
Not good by any means, but there are worse jungle films out there. All in all i would give it a 5 out of 10 on the time-waster scale. (color)
