This TV Disney movie has four enterprising youths do nothing less than prevent
the assassination of a Russian premier while visiting Los Angeles. The premier
is visiting the USA and touring a Hollywood movie studio before signing a
disarmament treaty.
The bad guys which include a corrupt US Senator Jared Martin are nothing less than the military industrial complex. They don't want disarmament for obvious reasons.
The grownups include Lois Lane type reporter Sharon Gless, her klutz of a photographer Larry Cedar and LAPDD detective Lloyd Haynes, but it's the kids who save the day.
Also with the help of that first Hollywood child star Jackie Coogan playing the role of delicatessen owner and father figure of sorts to the four heroes.
