Very funny
jodiechristas14 May 2001
I saw this recently and thought it was more funny than the poster let off. It follows the stories of a group of people who all live in an apartment building called Hollywood Palms, and the way their lives all inter-mingle. I thought the method of tracking the skunk 'Stinker's' POV through endless ducts was a new idea. It reminded me slightly of the programme 'Friends'. The whole film was nice and light. It wasn't demanding, but it made you laugh.

worth a watch

A quirky, funny film with surprises and good acting by all. Watched it on a whim and glad that I did.

Oh, and it is now twenty-one years old.

Give it a go.

What are your neighbors doing?!

This is a nice little movie... Along the lines of Showtime's (I think), "The Apartment Complex" - And yet, while still the story lines are different than what John Q Public would consider normal, they are still conceivably quite normal.

It's a fun criss-crossing of story-lines and interactions, and one genuinely feels for the central character (Clark) as he faces the limitations of child-stardom.

By the end, you'll be smirking at the least, maybe even laughing out loud... Isn't that what a good dark comedy is all about?

Plus, I thought Patrick Labyorteaux was a cutie way back in his Heathers' days, and with a few more years (and maybe an extra 10 lbs), I think he's even more cute now! He might only have been brawny in Heathers, but he's bright (and charitable - check his profile on IMDB) too! Extra points for Patrick! ;o)

Good unknown movie

I look for unknown, usually low-budget, really good movies. This is definitely one of them. It's about the lives of a real varied, eccentric bunch of characters. And it is funny and it is entertaining.(Reminds me of my days living in Brooklyn). It even has a character who definitely could be me. (No way I tell you which one!)

The movie is from 2001, so it's good to see some actors from some of my favorite little known movies of the 80s/90s. Dean Cameron, Matt Adler, Judge Reinhold, David Packer, all those who made the type of movies I search out and u should too.

If you wanna see a comedic low budget version of Melrose Place done very well, find this movie. The dialog is witty (I said witty, not intellectual), the acting is great (I suspect some improvisation occurred and done well).

A movie I'd pay full price for!
