Sex & Nudity

  • In one of the "New Toonland" levels one of the doors briefly shows a woman in the shower but she is hiding her body with the shower curtain.

Violence & Gore

  • Mild; Gex fights his various enemies mainly by whipping his tail into them, but he can also gain elemental-based projectile attacks that can defeat them from afar; fire balls, ice balls, and electric bolts. Enemies explode into static upon being defeated by regular attacks and die off accordingly based on any projectiles that hit them (burning into nothingness, freezing into a large ice cube or being shocked into oblivion).

Profanity

  • Mild, and strange considering the title was rated "Kids to Adults" (the old ESRB equivalent of "E for Everyone"); hell, damn and ass are used a number of times throughout the game by way of Gex's many one-liners.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The first world, "Cemetery", is a horror-movie-themed place with a dark and foreboding atmosphere.
