It has been a long time since I have seen it. However I remember laughing so hard I could not breath. This is a movie from the golden age of Mexican cinema. It exalts rural values over the hustle that we call urban life. It is a snapshot of life in those times. I really don't want to say too much about the plot, I'll talk about the setup. A wealthy man comes to Mexico city and falls in love an marries a good girl from a previously wealthy family. He gets tired of the way they mooch from him and decides to teach them a lesson.

At the end everything turns all right, as it should. See this movie if you can find it.
