It's basically an anime version of Speed, you know, a bomb on a train, and the train can't stop. But since it's city hunter, there are always some nice tricks in it(markmanship and driving skill, it's Saeba Ryo, the #1 gun for hire in the world, so go figure.) The anime work is nice, it can finally match Hojo-sensei's original style, and the music is pretty good. The only thing that I don't really like is the lack of Ryo-Kaori interaction. The usual "mallet-style" is there, but it didn't show the softer, more emotional side of their relationship.

Typical City Hunter

City Hunter: the motion picture is a typical city hunter movie.
Full of action, humor and the full cast is present.
As always City Hunter is tangled in funny situations because of his hunger for "Nookie".
Just see this movie, you will love it!

City Hunter Forever!!!!

I been a City Hunter fan for a long time now. This City Hunter Special is great! The problem with the TV Series is that the most funny parts in the manga never convert to the anime. In this movie, it doesn't have those problems. Ryo and Kaori is at their most funniest. Yes, you will see tons of hammers(Pun intended :) The action is great. And Miki, Falcon, Saeko get to play a big part to resolve the problem. I wish this won't be the last City Hunter Special.....
