Too much style, too little substance Warning: Spoilers
"Tráiler para amantes de lo prohibido", which means roughly translated "Trailer for Lovers of the Forbidden", is a short film that Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar made over 30 years ago, before his biggest successes. But it is not an early career effort as this television production was made when he had already been fairly prolific for a decade or so. I personally like musicals and I also like some of Almodóvar's works, but unfortunately I did not end up appreciating this little film here. The acting is okay and it is as pompous as some other of Pedro's works, but it really lacks in the storytelling department altogether. The action seems random and not coherent. I was disappointed here and I do not recommend the watch. Almodóvar certainly was not yet at his best in the mid-80s.

I've seen this short movie and found it just amazing. It's a musical in which Almodovar's perception of life and women is perfectly reflected.

Really recommendable for those lovers of "black humor" and those who have a strong sense of life itself.

This short movie is parallel to "¿Qué he hecho yo para merecer esto?" (1985) and it represents the moment of its premiere at the Theatres.

It is just great, funny, colorful.

Also a very critical reflect for men. Very Almodovarian...

Truly recommendable! Don't miss it!

Beware impressive people! Hahaha
