Wolf Chases Pigs is pretty hilarious for a Columbia cartoon
tavm12 June 2007
Warning: Spoilers
In this Columbia cartoon version of The Three Little Pigs, the wolf and the pigs have joined the army with the pigs becoming sergeants and the wolf's superior. As a result, the wolf gets humiliated walking long distances with a heavy load, takes a too-fast ride on a horse, and-as a result of oversleeping-goes on KP duty. Having had it with that last one, the wolf resolves to shoot the pigs on sight but gets his foot stuck on the ammo gun with his leg now becoming a shooting machine (wow, just like the Rose McGowan character in the Planet Terror segment of Grindhouse) that accidentally shoots everything in sight including a dynamite shack! A '40s World War II cartoon that has some typical violent gags of the period is pretty hilarious especially with the leg-gun gags. If you want to seek this out, it's now on YouTube.
