A cat takes his plane to cross the ocean alone in this Paul Terry/Aesop's Fables cartoon.
In doing so, he encounters mice, Noah's ark -- with Farmer Alfalfa in charge -- and snow. The Aesop's Fable series was not among the best of the 1920s cartoons, given their frantic rate of production, and unvarying cast of unnamed characters. This one is slow, has a limited number of gags, and is minimally drawn and animated. Given Lindbergh's recent flight, however, this must have been a popular one.
