Positive sex from a master
lor_5 July 2023
A deceptively simple movie, Anthony Spinelli's "For Love and Lust" has the director going back to basics for an unusually naturalistic approach. Apart from excellent monologues for star Richard Pacheco, the feature resembles the coming gonzo revolution in its minimalist approach to story, but is relentlessly upbeat in presenting an exceedingly happy form of open marriage.

Opening is simple, with Pacheco chatting with two buddies (Alex Martin and Richard Pacheco), espousing his sexual philosophy (the best sex is with a plain beauty who is experienced to all types of sex including anal and bondage, rather than the prettiest/most pampered type) and telling them of a wonderful birthday we watch in flashback, where wife Nina Hartman gave him the "gift" of a grocery checkout girl he was obsessed with (Lili Marlene). We watch Nina hump a beautiful geisha girl (Mariko) while Lili services her husband.

Then he tells his lucky friends that it's Nina's birthday and he wants them to service her together, fulfilling one of her fantasies. First we see Pacheco and Nina enjoying anal sex together (with him delivering a hands-free money shot on her posterior at the climax) followed by a hot threesome.

Extended finale has all four of them lolling around naked as Ashley Welles arrives to dance for Nina and then make love to her, concluding with a five-person orgy.

Rounding out the show is a very pleasant coda of Hartley and Pacheco relaxing on the couch together, basking in the glow of their roaring fireplace ch.

It's a cheerful, 100% hedonistic paean to free and open sex for a married couple, very different from the mechanical type of porn that has become so popular.
