Sex & Nudity

  • A man and woman are shown getting in to bed together, although no sex is implied

Violence & Gore

  • There is a flashback involving a man and a woman on a stakeout somewhere in the country. The FBI team encounters a boy who runs back to the house, grabs a gun and starts firing at the agents. Other family members join in. A mostly slow-motion shootout scene during which a young boy and several adults are killed (we see lots of blood spray from the wounds as people are shot and we see a few bloody corpses); a woman holding up her bloody hands is shot by a woman holding a baby).
  • There's an intense car chase in which a man pursues a van. The man sees his kidnapped son in the van. The man chases after the van with the bomb. Two cars crash into each other and later one of those smashes into a bus and is spun around. The cars finally stop, and both drivers get out. A man in another car stops and punches the pursing driver several times.
  • A brief shot of some people who've been hanged as well as a few out of focus photos of somewhat bloody victims of terrorist attacks (as well as pictures of a destroyed building).
  • A man throws another man up against a car and punches him in the back. He then drags him into a deserted building and hits and kicks that man. The latter eventually turns the tables and repeatedly punches the first man until his face is rather bloody and then briefly pushes down on the man's throat with the weight of his foot.
  • A woman dies of a car crash after driving recklessly. Her body is not seen when a guy tries to find her but her body was already put in the ambulance.
  • A man crashes through a gate into a parking garage. He finds a C4 explosive in his trunk and it explodes killing lots of people.
  • In the opening scene, there is a boy walking down the middle of a road, see blood dripping on his shoes and pants. The camera linger towards his head and he sweats and starts to lose consciousness. A man in a car sees him and gets out then see his extremely bloody, charred hand and arm; a car nearly hits him (we learn he had been injured while playing with fireworks). The man holds and takes him to the emergency room (blood shown on clothes)

Profanity

  • 3 uses of "fuck", 5 uses of "shit", 9 uses of "damn" (6 paired with "God"), 3 uses of "hell", 1 use of "bitch", 1 use of "Jesus", and 1 use of "screw".

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man smokes a cigarette once
  • We see beer bottles between a man and another man and then see one hold one, but not drink from it.
  • While talking about stupid things one may have done when they were teenagers, Oliver theoretically comments to Michael about "the lies you told...the drugs you took."
  • People have drinks at a party.
  • Character's drink casually
  • a man is implied to be drunk

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A person suddenly shows up behind another person in two separate scenes (that made many at our screening jump in their seats)
