ABC is reviving the comedy-variety show “Kids Say the Darndest Things” next season, with comedian Tiffany Haddish stepping in to host.
Described as a “reimagined” take on the Bill Cosby-hosted show about the humorous things children say when talking to adults, the new “Kids Say the Darndest Things” will feature “a mix of in-studio segments and taped pieces from across the country, all set in front of a live studio audience.”
Planned segments include “Kids Rule,” in which kids explain to Haddish the rules for everything from sportsmanship to dating; “Love Talk,” where she seeks advice on her love life; “Best Carpool Ever,” which will see Haddish taking on carpool duty with a minivan full of kids; and “Granny Tiff,” in which she will wear prosthetics to disguise herself as an older woman and receive technology advice from the kids.

Kids say the darndest things. Let’s just hope they don’t actually follow-up on those statements. Jimmy Kimmel invited some kids on his show Thursday to talk about health care in a pre-recorded sketch. Most of them were totally on board with the rich helping the poor out on this one — but there’s always one in a room. At a certain point in the discussion, Kimmel asked his pint-sized guests what they want to be when they grow up. One girl wanted to be a hip-hop teacher — we assume she was referring to the dance style. The other was on.

Kids say the darndest things! Rob Kardashian is poised and ready to become a fantastic father, as an absolutely precious Instagram video shared by Blac Chyna revealed the E! reality star is busy practicing his parenting skills with her 3-year-old son King Cairo. In the video, which Chyna wrote she was initially "hesitant" to post, Rob and King are spending some quality time together when the toddler does exactly what every other kid his age has done when they're parents aren't looking. "S--t!" King says, to which Kardashian immediately responds, "What did you say?" "I said, 's--t!'" he replies in a hilarious matter of fact...

Kids say the darndest things, don't they? Ashton Kutcher had the funniest (and most relatable) reaction to his daughter Wyatt blurted out a curse word. The former Two and a Half Men star posted a selfie on Instagram of him biting his tongue, Ok literally biting his thumb, in an effort to avoid encouraging his toddler to use that type of language in the future. "When your 22 month old drops an f bomb and it is (not funny) except it's really funny and you can't laugh #baddads #badmoms," Kutcher wrote alongside the cute pic. Kutcher's wife Mila Kunis has been in the spotlight recently, promoting her current film Bad Moms, and she gushed about her hubby during a guest...

Kids say the darndest things... Pink and husband Carey Hart's daughter Willow Sage Heart once threw some unintended shade at her Grammy-winning mom's singing capabilities. The 4-year-old girl makes a cameo in the music video for the pop star's new song "Just Like Fire," recorded for the soundtrack to Disney's Alice Through the Looking Glass. Pink, 36, told Good Morning America Wednesday her daughter likes the track but joked, "She finds my singing distracting. When she was 2, she was [like], 'Shh, Mama, terrible voice.' On January 26th, Fine Bros Entertainment (Fbe) announced a new program called React World. In an introductory video they released on that day, Benny and Rafi Fine explained the services React World offers and the reasoning behind it. The essential goal is to expand the Fine Bros brand worldwide by inviting international creators to license the specific React formats for which Fbe is famous. Beyond sharing the assets for their shows, Benny and Rafi pledged production and promotional support to the creators who work with them.
Within days, the React World announcement drew significant backlash on the Internet. In particular, Reddit’s /r/videos subreddit picked it up as a crusade du jour and has bombarded the forum’s front page with videos criticizing The Fine Bros. The most popular arguments against Benny and Rafi concern their perceived attempt to trademark a format over which they hold no legal control,...

A new series from Jash has added to YouTube’s deep reserve of videos led by funny children. The comedy network formed in 2013 by a fivesome of comedy notables has launched Baby Talk, which is based off a Meltdown live show of the same name.
In Baby Talk, hosts Dan Levy and Jensen Karp invite three celebrity guests to riff on the musings of a silly child. What We Did on Our Holiday

Big names like Rosamund Pike and David Tennant headline the film, but it’s the kids who steal the show. Writer/directors Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin take their experience from running BBC’s Outnumbered and utilize the improvisational skills of youngsters Emilia Jones, Bobby Smalldridge and Harriet Turnbull to pair off against legend Billy Connolly to make a charming summer comedy.

Kids say the darndest things, and sometimes the wisest things too.
SheKnows sat down with a group of opinionated youngsters to chat about Caitlyn Jenner's transformation. The pint-sized panel was first shown a picture of Bruce Jenner and then a photo of Caitlyn, and then they were asked to describe both.
The kids called Bruce "strong" and used words like "calm," "confident" and "happy" to describe Caitlyn. After weighing in on both of the pictures separately, the participants were asked an important question.
"What would happen if I told you they're the same person?"

There is probably no more humbling reminder of how much time has passed by than when The Fine Brothers’ "Kids React" series takes "old" things that were integral to your youth, sits young children down and shows them baffled as they handle them with an extreme antiquarian culture shock. Certainly, the latest episode of the YouTube series may have proven itself the most humbling for anyone who came of age during the reign of the VHS Vcr. If you want to kick off your day by feeling old, then check it out! "Kids React" utilizes a tried and true formula allowing adults an objective way to bask in the wonderment of intergenerational logic that almost mirrors "Kids Say the Darndest Things" hosted by Bill Cos…err, He Who Must Not Be Named. While they’ve done episodes spotlighting old ...

“Can I have your iPad when you die?”
Kids say the darndest things. But sometimes they can be real #@&!s!
Johanna Stein, mother of a 4-year-old and author of “How Not to Calm a Child on a Plane and Other Lessons in Parenting From a Highly Questionable Source,” made a video called “Momhead” that documents all the hilarious ways her daughter insults her.
Some seem like innocent misunderstandings (“Are you going to make yourself pretty today or are you going to look like you always do?”) while other might be a bit more, uh...sinister (“Can I have your iPad when you die?”).
Watch: Adorable little girl epically fails at learning nursery rhyme!
And then there’s this:
Brutal. You can’t come back from that. Watch “Mommyhead” now:
Anyway, “Your tummy looks like a bagel” is our new favorite insult.

This is the Buzz Lightyear you know and love. He's an intergalactic space ranger who says things like "To infinity and beyond!" and "I come in peace!" We're not sure what movie this child was watching, but it definitely wasn't Toy Story and it definitely wasn't rated PG. Kids say the darndest things, but they also can't spell. Which leads to hilarity like this: The photo first surfaced on imgur and there isn't much backstory to it (who the original artist is, how old he or she is, what kind of sexual deviancy Woody is into), but now we all have the Toy Story-American Pie mash-up we never knew we needed. Also, it's Friday and this is just the kind of stupidity we need to make...

AMC is pulling out all the stops for its new drama "Halt and Catch Fire." Not only did they release the riveting pilot episode early on Tumblr, but they also hired YouTube comedy giants the Fine Bros. to create an episode of their "Kids React" video franchise to promote the show. In less than two days, the video has more than 5 million views. The extraordinary numbers should come as no surprise. Ever since "Kids Say the Darndest Things," we've all enjoyed watching children use basic logic to attempt to explain or do things we adults have grown accustomed to on a day to day basis. Seeing these little ones try to turn on an '80s era Apple -- an odd choice considering the show is about the PC race against Ibm -- is quite amusing. Plus, the Fine Bros have become stars -- and even earned a Nickelodeon show...

Kids say the darndest things, and often they're spot-on. In the latest episode of the YouTube video project Kids React, adorable children watch two public marriage proposals that just happen to feature two men and two women, respectively. While the brothers behind the series say "it's a thought-provoking episode that will stir controversy," it's hard to not feel warm and fuzzy watching the kids embrace the universal love on display. While witnessing two men get engaged, an 11-year-old girl smiles ear to ear and says, "When somebody proposes to me, that's what I want to happen." Another yells out, "Yay!" Some kids still have questions. "You mean a boy marrying a boy?" one asks, while another admits, "I'm all new to this." After watching the videos and fielding a few questions, the consensus among these kids seems to be that gay marriage is no big deal. "I don't get why...

Kids say the darndest things. And sometimes they’re enough to cause an international TV incident. ABC has issued a formal apology after a boy suggested during a Jimmy Kimmel Live skit that the way to retire the U.S.’ debt to a particular country was to “kill all the people in China.” That didn’t sit well with the 80-20 Inititave, a web-based group that promotes equal opportunity for Asian Americans. In a letter to the organization, ABC apologized and said the skit will be cut from future airings of the show on all platforms. “We would never purposefully broadcast anything to upset the Chinese community, Asian community, anyone of Chinese descent or any community at large,” ABC said. The 6-year-old’s unscripted comment came during an October 16 sketch called “Kids Table” in which youngsters opine on big news topics of the day. After Kimmel told the pint-sized panel...

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is notorious for his foul mouth, with his colorful rants aimed at contestants on "MasterChef" and "Hell's Kitchen" the stuff of legend, but now that he's the host of the G-rated "MasterChef Junior," the hot-tempered chef will certainly rein it in, right?
Wrong.
While Ramsay likely isn't lobbing expletive-laden insults at the contestants, whose ages range from 8-13, breakout cheflet Sarah recently admitted that Ramsay wasn't all sugar and spice and everything nice on set.
During this summer's TCA tour, Ramsay was questioned about his contributions to the curse jar on set, and he tried to talk around the question, babbling, "My wife is an ex-school teacher. I think, like any sport, any situation under pressure, when some bad words come out, they get bleeped. I don't think I swore once across 'MasterChef Junior.'"
Sarah wasn't having any of it and, according to Today,...

As nights are getting longer and winter is closing in, what better time to deliver some viral video sunshine, courtesy of Kid President, a boy who manages to just dodge the overbearingly cutesy bullet to slap a big smile on your face.
This week he's got a pep talk to teachers and students, commanding them to "look for the awesome". It is important to go to school because, he points out, if Shakespeare had not studied "his plays would be even more confusing". And don't feel intimidated by great thinkers such as Confucius, Einstein and, er, Justin Timberlake, as they put their trousers on one leg at a time, just like Kid President – though he does it while dancing.

Neil Gaiman wrote, "I would like to see anyone, prophet, king or God, convince a thousand cats to do the same thing at the same time." The same is true for babies, and the unpredictability of young children is something that TV has been trading in for a long time, particularly the long-running CBS series Kids Say the Darndest Things. Now ABC has gotten in the game with Bet on Your Baby, a game show where one parent guesses how their toddler (placed in "The Babydome") might react to a challenge (stacking cookies, spinning in place, knocking down

Revision3, the online video network that ranks such online video sensations as Phil DeFranco and Epic Meal Time amongst its roster of talent, just announced it formed a partnership with yet another acclaimed YouTube creator (both in terms of views and awards). And that YouTube creator is actually two YouTube creators. Benny and Rafi Fine of The Fine Brothers. Almost one year ago, the Fine Bros. were selected as one of the original 97 channels to be part of YouTube's Original Channels Initiative. Since then (and since establishing themselves as one of the premier conent creators on the world's largest video sharing site thanks to their Kids React series - a viral video evolution of Kids Say The Darndest Things mixed with a dash of child-pop-phsycology) Benny and Rafi have devoted the bulk of their production work to MyMusic. Kids say the darndest things...and then the Parents Televsion Council gets involved. Tonight's episode of Modern Family has drawn the attention of the PTC thanks to Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) shocking her parents when she starts dropping the F-bomb. While creator Steve Levitan told reporters at the Television Critics Association that he's "proud and excited" of the new storyline, the Parents Television Council is not happy (without having seen the episode). So what does the PTC, and Lily's two on-screen dads, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, have to say about this whole fudge-ing mess? Kids say the darndest things. Then again, sometimes they don't really feel like chatting on late-night talk shows. This was the case for Katherine Heigl's daughter, Naleigh. Bill Cosby got a peep show Friday morning in New York and it wasn't on his own terms. According to The Village Voice, our favorite sweater wearing Cliff Huxtable got flashed outside the 5th ave. Barnes and Noble by Holly Van Voast. The woman has been known to rip off her t-shirt in numerous places before, which have included in a courtroom, Times Square and in the Grand Central Terminal. The Jell-o loving and Kids Say The Darndest Things actor just never saw it coming.
A source states that Cosby, 74, was headed to his Cadillac after his signing in the store when he got surprised by a half naked Holly. He seemed confused and was wondering what was going on and who the woman was. The chaos ended shortly after when he got in the car and she just walked off.

That is gross. What do you think? Comment back!

The unofficial Walking Dead takeover of EW.com continues! Yesterday, members of the Dead cast and crew (including creator Robert Kirkman) swung by the New York Comic-Con for a capacity-crowd panel. Everyone was pretty mum, spoiler-wise, although Kirkman explicitly stated his wish to get one fan-favorite character from the comic books into the show. (Conspiracy theorists will be sad, or perhaps happy, to hear that there was nary a mention of departed Dead showrunner Frank Darabont.) The panel was moderated by Chris Hardwick, host of the spin-off talk show The Talking Dead. Read on for a full report, and be...

Seems Zach Galifianakis isn’t the only person that has a problem with January Jones. Jared Gilmore — the actor formerly known as Don and Betty’s son, Bobby Draper (Gilmore left Mad Men for ABC’s Once Upon a Time) — also told a reporter that the Mad Men and X-Men: First Class actress is, well, frosty. When TV Guide asked Gilmore for advice for his replacement, the young actor responded, “Be careful around January . She’s not as approachable as the others. She’s really serious about what she does. Everyone else is so nice.”

Kids say the darndest things. Jonah Hill says the dirtiest.
The "Superbad" star takes the lead in the new R-rated raunch fest comedy, "The Sitter," in which he plays a grown man reduced to babysitting to make a living. And as he says in the trailer, he's not one of those fun and games babysitters -- he's more of a tell the kids to shut the hell up and sit and watch television.
As a bonus, Hill introduces the trailer by talking to a nice, diverse group of kids who question his gender, whether or not he's an as*hole and his right to make money as a movie star.
In a summer of R-rated comedies, from "The Hangover" and "Bridesmaids" to "The Change-Up," and "Horrible Bosses," this may rank as the wildest, given its interaction with little kids.
Interestingly, Hill will take a major turn toward drama after this film,...

Kids say the darndest things. Maybe your grumpy ol’ ears didn’t embrace the “Friday” phenomenon, but you’re not a tween. Actually, it turns out tweens pretty much despised Rebecca Black’s homemade video, too. At least they say they do. In an online series titled, “Kids React to Viral Videos,” a handful of youngsters were forced to watch the “Friday” video (below). Not Clockwork Orange style, but it sort of felt that way. Morgan, 6, and Emma, 8, were enthusiastic fans, but once the ages reached double-digits, the criticisms turned cruel. “It was entertaining because it was terrible,” said Shannon,...

After last week's episode, which nearly rose to the level of mediocre, the "SNL" crew squander the talents of another great host. This season, it's almost as if, the better the host, the worse the show. Beyond the monologue, there was exactly one decent skit the entire night.
Zach Galfianakis Monologue
A four-minute stand-up routine! Clearly, the "SNL" writers did not write any of this, i.e., it's funny.
Scared Straight
A Scared Straight program for kids about the dangers of prison rape. We now know you can say taint on NBC. Bonus: Hangover references: "What happens in your ass, stays in your ass."
That's it for good skits last night. That's all you're getting. Here are some notable misfires:
The Digital Short is essentially "Kids Say the Darndest Things" with Galifianakis, only instead of "darn thing," the kids are scripted, and it's bad. Very bad.

Kids say the darndest things! Watch this hilarious new video from AOL's Kids Act Out series, in which children parody some of former "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen's recent outlandish remarks to the media. Quoting Sheen, a pint-sized Charlie exclaims, "I'm not bipolar. I'm bi-winning!" Subsequently, the little tyke proceeds to jump around the floor yelling, "I'm winning, I'm winning!" Earlier today, Et confirmed that Sheen had been fired from CBS' "Two and a Half Men." The news came moments after Sheen announced that he was hiring an intern. The actor tweeted: "I'm looking to hire a #winning Intern with #TigerBlood." Last week, Sheen took the social media world by storm and set the Guinness World Record for the Fastest Time to Reach 1 Million Followers on a Twitter account.

We have been fans of Lifetime's "Seriously Funny Kids" since it presented the show at the Winter Press tour. An adult show that brings out the natural hilarity of kids using a wide array of interviews, hidden camera skits and strange predicaments would stand on its own. But, what really takes it up another notch is its host, "Project Runway's" Heidi Klum.
"I did a show called, 'I Get That A Lot," and Heidi was on the show," "Seriously Funny Kids" creator and executive producer Eric Schotz tells Zap2it. "We had her working in a pizza parlor. And her comic instincts were amazing. She's hilarious and took great direction and added tremendous amounts to the piece."

Heidi Klum trades temperamental designers for temperamental kids as the host of the new out-of-the-mouths-of-babes series Seriously Funny Kids (premiering tonight at 9/8c on Lifetime). "People who say 'Don't work with animals or kids' are absolutely right!" Klum jokes. "It is definitely harder than I expected." Bill Cosby would likely agree.
