The Hillary Summers / Nancy Hoffman scene in the jail cell has been censored in later versions of Taxi Girls.
The magazine that the desk sergeant reads is the October 1978 issue of Playboy, which features Dolly Parton on the cover.
'Charlie's Angels' actress Cheryl Ladd successfully sued this film's producer (and co-director) Jourdan Alexander for $1,000,000 in 1983. The film's original poster art not only featured her unlicensed image but also her name, referring to Nancy Suiter(the star of 'Taxi Girls') as being 'the Cheryl Ladd look-alike'. In reality, Ladd and Suiter looked nothing alike.
Bob Chinn was interviewed and said that he agreed to direct Taxi Girls as long as his name wasn't used. Chinn stated, "The reason was simple: he (Jaacov Jaacovi) wanted to shoot it all in Los Angeles - where it was still illegal to make porn films... I'd never been busted in my entire career making these films, and I certainly didn't want that to happen now." Chinn is therefore the director of Taxi Girls, not the credited JaacovJaacovi.
