Bardotsalvador26 June 2010
I saw this movie for the first time back in 1985 in new york city , i was very surprise how good it was , La Fornes a cuban super star did not make a movie since 1961 this was her comeback and what a major comeback it was , the movie is the first movie maked in Cuba that talked about the reality of the failed revolution , Miss Fornes play this working class woman that she want to move to a bigger house the movie show how hard in Cuba was permutar meaning move to another place, Rosita is wonderful as ever she look good too ,even she was past maybe 60s , please if you have a change watch this movie is great specially for cuban people they will understand everything ,It was said that at the peak of her beauty Rosita was the most desired woman in Mexico and Cuba. Among the men of power who allegedly competed for her affections were Mexican President 'Miguel Aleman', Cuban President Prio Socarras, former Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista and Argentine revolutionary Ernesto 'Che' Guevara.
