• Dowager Empress Marie : [looking through her memory box]  Oh look! The drawing you gave me! Remember?

  Anastasia : Oh yeah... Olga made me so mad; she said it looked like a pig riding a donkey!

  [laughs] 

  Anastasia : She was right.

  [retrieves a tiara from her dresser] 

  Dowager Empress Marie : But you have the beauty of your mother, Alexandra - Empress of all Russia.

  [ceremoniously places tiara on Anastasia's head] 

• Rasputin : [sneering]  Long Live the Romanovs!

  Anastasia : All right! I couldn't have said it better myself!

  [tackles him] 

• [Dimitri is going to announce Anya to the Dowager; Anya stops him] 

  Anastasia : Dimitri?

  Dimitri : Yes?

  Anastasia : [a bit nervous]  Look, we've been through a lot together...

  Dimitri : [getting excited]  Uh-huh?

  Anastasia : [very nervously]  And... I just wanted to...

  Dimitri : [very excitedly]  Yes?

  Anastasia : Well...

  [loses her nerve]

  [sighs] 

  Bartok : If that thing's come back to life, that must mean... Anastasia's alive.

  Dimitri : Just leave the dog.

  Anastasia : I am not leaving the dog!

  Bartok : And that's her!

• Anastasia : [singing]  I never cared for Stroganoff!

  Vladimir : [singing]  She said that like a Romanov!

• [Dimitri is quizzing Anya] 

  Dimitri : Now, where was Uncle Boris from?

  [smashes his reliquary with her foot] 

  Rasputin : Give it back!

  Anastasia : This is for my family!

  [smashing his reliquary again] 

  Rasputin : [grabs her gown]  I'll tear you to pieces!

  Anastasia : And this--this is for you!

  Rasputin : No!

  Anastasia : Dasvidaniya!

  [began to crush his reliquary and it explodes, unleashing the minions, who turn against Rasputin, and in the process, he crosses over, disintegrates to a skeleton, then to dust, ending the Romanov curse forever] 

• Anastasia : Sophie wants to take us shopping for the ballet! Shopping in Paris, can you believe it?

• [after Rasputin is destroyed, Anya checks on Dimitri, who was struck in the head by a rock] 

  Anastasia : Dimitri?

  [He doesn't move or open his eyes, and Anya looks away and starts to cry; Her dog, Pooka, howls in despair; Suddenly, Dimitri moves his arm and gets up; Anya gasps and quickly turns, accidentally hitting him in the face] 

  Dimitri : Ouch!

  Anastasia : DIMITRI!

  [She happily hugs him] 

  Dimitri : Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow! Let go, let go!

  Anastasia : Sorry.

  Dimitri : Yeah, I know, I know. "All men are babies."

  [groans] 

  Anastasia : I thought you were going back to St. Pete...

  Dimitri : I was.

  Anastasia : You didn't take the...

  Dimitri : I couldn't.

  Anastasia : Why?

  Dimitri : Because, I...

  [Anya puts her fingers on his lips, quieting him and they lean in for a kiss, but Pooka barks and hands them Anya's tiara; He takes it] 

  Dimitri : Oh.

  [They both get up] 

  Dimitri : They're waiting for you.

  [Anya takes the tiara and looks at Dimitri as she finally discovers the truth] 

• Dimitri : Here. I bought you a dress.

  [Holds it out to her] 

  Anastasia : [Examining the size of it]  You bought me a... tent.

  [Looks inside the dress] 

  Dimitri : [Looking back at her through the neck]  What are you looking for?

  Anastasia : The Russian Circus - I think it's still in here!
