If you have ever heard ANYTHING about El Chupacabra then you know as much as you will learn after watching this documentary. It tells of what the legend is and then has a bunch of idiots telling what they claim to have seen.
Basically Chupacabra means goat sucker and all these animals have been getting killed in Puerto Rico since the seventies and have large 1/4 inch holes in them that are similar to vampire marks. The holes run as much as 6 inches deep and often the blood is drained from the animal and often even organs are pulled out miraculously through these small incisions. Many animals have been killed from rabbits to cows and no one has a clue. The descriptions of it are often of a 3 foot creature with red eyes, quills that change color, weird claws and many say it floats up to space ships, but no proof of these legends are real.
I am not saying that it isn't a great mystery, and I don't claim to know anything about it, but I am one who needs more proof, I like to think of it as a great mystery of what is happening to these animals, but I can't say I believe in this creature.
This documentary could've said all it needed to say in 3 minutes, yet it goes on and on and on with people talking about what they claim to see. It does show some of the aftermath on the animals and thats the only good point.
The narrator is annoying, the host is even more so, and the stupid people who usually have to be translated into English are even more annoying. It was only an hour and still too long, It was one of the most boring docs I have ever watched and I would tell anyone to go read about Chupacabra online and avoid watching this film. 1/10 stars
