Director David DeCoteau used the pseudonym Ellen Cabot. He told Draculina magazine that Ellen Cabot was an old girifriend from high school who he had a real bad break up with his senior year. He later admitted to Femme Fatales magazine that the story about an old girlfriend was made up to cover the fact that he was gay.
