Marc Singer was the first choice for the part of Andrew Kendrick.
Gary Daniels and David Bradley were considered for the role of Nick Stone.
One of five action films from the '90s where Matt McColm starred as a lead. The other four are Subterfuge (1996), Acts of Betrayal (1997), The Protector (1998), and the lost film Fight and Revenge (1997).
The first version of the screenplay for this film was written by Dennis Hackin. A second, drastically different, was written by Clay Walker in 1990. When Matt McColm was cast and pre-production started, they had completely changed the concept and had a script penned by William Vigil that was supposed to be directed by Michael Schroeder. Production stalled for a while because of location issues and other writers came in.
Released theatrically in Japan, India, and Italy.
