This film was good since it had the element of suspense throughout. Of course, it was sad to see the Inuit being forced to move out of their homes just because the gov'ts told them too!! :(( I was disgusted to find out that those 2 useless subs were sitting there at the bottom of the ocean for all of those 8 years and "no one knew about them being there at all" until just the day before. Like, yeah right no one knew about it! Those stupid things had no business being there in Inuit waters to begin with since no one ever even bothered to contact them to see if it was alright to even have them there at all! That's what's so infuriating about the whole issue.
Furthermore, the female scientist wouldn't have even perished if she wasn't exposed to that crappy radiation! She was probably exposed to it for too long and it finally caught up to her. :( Fortunately Nelson rescued her from freezing. When she got picked up by the chopper, the idiot pilots didn't even bother to thank him for literally saving her life! As a matter of fact, no one did; not even the media! That was another infuriating thing to see! But...... oh well.....ANYWAYS..... that's the way the directors and producers of the film wanted the characters to be portrayed. But I thought this film was good nonetheless. That's why I gave this one a 7 out of 10.
