Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The opening scene is a bit dark and intense. A woman looks up and sees something dropping down on her from above and screams.
  • Some of the camera movements throughout the film are made to look like they are from the cats' perspectives. In these scenes, the camera moves like the cat is stalking something or someone. This might be intense for some viewers.
  • The scene where the vet explains why feral animals are so dangerous is kind of creepy.
  • Cats suddenly jump out of unexpected places in a few scenes, creating several jump scares. They often hiss and bare their teeth menacingly.
  • The alpha male is scary looking. In one scene, a woman comes into a dark room and turns on the light. The alpha male is hanging from the light fixture and gazing down at her. The woman screams. This is a decent jump scare.
  • A couple wakes up to find that the alpha male has marked their master bedroom as its territory. This scene is a bit startling.
  • The cats find their way into the ventilation system and use it to move through the house. A woman stuffs one vent with a pillow. Some hissing is heard, and a cat tries to push the pillow out so it can get in and attack.
  • A toddler is in danger during many of the attack scenes, especially toward the end. This may be upsetting for some.
  • A man hears a noise and looks for its source. He opens a cabinet, and a rat suddenly jumps out and lands on his shoulder, causing him to scream.
  • A man turns around and sees a large group of cats slowly surrounding him. He looks up at the top of a shelf and sees the alpha male staring ominously down at him.
