Rob Morrow has created a very nice little film here. It's the story of a little fatherless boy who's mom takes an interest in the man who comes to install a burglar alarm.
We first see the boy hesitant and cautious about letting this strange man into his life, then he falls for him only to find out the man is not the loveable guy he appears to be. The story is told brilliantly with very few words, driven by great direction and Pat Metheny's great score.
It's a shame short films such as this don't get the chance to reach a broader audience.
