Depressing and disturbing
ratttona30 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Depressing. It's a deep and well thought through movie though, but you can see that whoever wrote the scenario does not believe in God, or has a true understanding of the Divine Plan. Yes, all types of misfortunes can happen in our lives, but they are Lessons from the Divine Creator, and we need to go through them, overcome, and learn, improving ourselves in the process. That's what the movie should have been about. Instead the director decided to create something depressing, instead of giving people hope. Very unpleasant gruesome scenes of violence at the end. Even though the graphic details are not shown, the sounds will haunt you. Very much regret watching it. Wish someone had warned me, that's why I'm writing this review.

Must see..
elduende009 November 2005
These three stories, which meet at a certain point, and whose protagonists unwittingly influence the lives of their families, comprise a surrealist reflection of the cruel realities of Peruvian everyday life. An old married couple launch into the risky business of building their own mausoleum. When they discover that their former housemaid has gone blind, they give her a pig, never dreaming what the tragic consequences will be. A popular radio announcer falls in love with a girl with suicidal tendencies. This film won Francisco J. Lombardi the nickname Bunuel's nephew and saw him labeled the heir to the tradition of black humor in the comedies of Berlanga and Ferreri.

Why life is bad?
ebri2 August 1999
This film shows us, that life in Peru is quite bad, even that, a couple can not build their cemetery house without selling their house seems funny compared to the other two main tales. You won't be happy after watching this, but can wonder, 'Life is yourself', or 'Life is not yourself'...
