"The Age of Insects" is kind of a special film. Never saw anything like it before. Has a real late 50s- early 60's B movie style. The film seems to have a message about humans and how their behavior resembles insects.

A few things became clear from the viewing. The film has stood the test of time (It's from 1990) and indeed seems downright ahead of it's time. There will always be an audience for the weird and edgy. The mainstream media co-ops everything so quickly that it gets harder and harder to find work that is truly weird without being completely satanic. The film us such a film.
