- TriviaIn the original script, the skull which flies out of the freezer was not included - it was added by Lucio Fulci. He later remarked that he felt it was one of the most clever things he had come up with, and was the only thing about the movie he was truly proud of.
- GoofsOttaviano Dell'Acqua's hair and beard are visibly longer in the scenes shot after Lucio Fulci left, such as when he is fighting the bald zombie at the abandoned kiosk, and his final scene with the anti-contamination squad.
- Quotes
Glenn: I'm feeling better, Patricia, but I'm thirsty... for your blood!
- Crazy creditsThe opening credits appear over footage of three separate groups of characters travelling to the same destination (the helipad outside the chemical plant). All three groups converge once the credits end.
- Alternate versionsIn the UK release (entitled Zombie Flesh Eaters 2), the actor Mike Monty (who plays General Morton), appears in the opening cast list, but in the end list don't. In the Italian version the actor is completely uncredited.

Another barrel of fun!
What is it about the actor Massimmo Vanni? He kicks ass in all of his movies! I would love to meet him in person! The story to this is a bunch of scientists are killed trying to escape with a deadly toxic gas. The gas gets out and turns people into zombies. This movie owes a lot to 'Return of the living dead'. Same plot and same lines! The action is carried out by flame throwers and machetes! Fighting the zombies seems to work aswell. Even the women in this movie kick ass! They don't all scream and expect the men to do everything. The setting is great! (It was made in the Filipines) You can tell where Lucio Fulci stopped directing though. At first there's a lot of fast moving and fog but it gets duller later on. Gore is great. A man cuts his hand off and a pregnant woman gives birth to a zombie that rips out of her! All this and a pretty good ending makes it a real action packed zombie fest! Massimmo Vanni, You Rule! 7.5 out of 10.
