I stumbled across this indie in the mid 90s on a VHS tape owned by a friend who bought it out of the back of their 'brickmobile' in Chicago.
Without much expectation I watched it with my girlfriend - a self proclaimed film snob.
Pure comedy genius. A cult classic. My GF didn't appreciate it after the first time but we watched it again and she was hooked.
It's like an onion. Every time I see it there's something new. The audio track is 10 layers deep and counting. Background imagery is hilarious - is that a beer sign in the bank? And Fred is the ultimate villain.
Google it and watch it... multiple times. You will NOT be disappointed.
Hey Hollywood, watch this for something original!!
