To streamline the run time, some elements from L. Frank Baum's Ozma of Oz are omitted, including the many-head Princess Langwidere, the ineptly structured Army of Oz (consisting of 26 officers giving orders to a single combat soldier, organized by Secretary of Defense Tin Man), and Dorothy's befriending of the Ev Queen's youngest son.
