  • The majority of the movie depicts the characters living under threat of nuclear war. We hear planes overhead that shake the house. Various objects in the house break after falling due to the vibrations.
  • One character suffers a nervous breakdown and has to be sedated via injection.
  • The mental states of the characters are not stable in many scenes. Some conversations contain disturbing themes. Brief flashbacks to scenes of destruction occur. Some intense dream sequences occur.
  • The scene depicting the sexual encounter includes references to witchcraft and a shot in which the characters levitate.
  • In the climax of the film, a character sets fire to a house. The house is shown ablaze and collapsing. The character runs about and eventually is forced into an ambulance.
