A simple story showing Spanish pueblos of the 1980s
jonalcibar24 June 2017
The movie shows different odd and rather funny characters living in the Spanish villages in 1980s. All are great actors of the Spanish cinema of those days specially José Sacristán and Fernando Fernán Gómez, the main characters. You will see traces of neo-realism but without the drama that usually bonds to it and substituted by a comical atmosphere caused by the surrealist characters and happenings that "Cara de Acelga" ("Chard face" in English) finds from his trip from nowhere to nowhere.

The movie is quite simple, but It's probably a well and happily narrated simple story that makes it great to enjoy it in solace.
