I remember watching this on the ABC back when I was a kid. It was Australian sketch comedy at its best (except for the D-Gen of course). The type of show that just when you thought they couldn't take a gag any further they would go the extra mile, but rather than it comming across as 'flogging a dead horse' they were able to pull it off. We still see the dodgey brothers today doing commercials or on other comedy shows and the still get the laughs. I'll never forget 'chunky custard'.

Why isn't this brilliant comedy on DVD yet??????? Who could forget Chunky Custard and it's successor Yak Fat,The Mormons,The Dodgy Brothers,Tim and Debbies really amazing Brainspace and Rod Quantock drawing on the cameras.It is way overdue for this gem of Australian comedy to be released in full on DVD come on you slackers at the ABC the video released in the mid nineties was not enough it lacked a lot of the best parts of the show but it was better than nothing some of the best songs and sketches were left out such as the send up of Olivia Newton Johns song Let's Get Physical reworked as Let's Get Cerebrel for the then intellectual ABC

Thank you YouTube for having The Very Best of Australia You're Standing In It for viewing (i watched it last night and absolutely roared with laughter all the way thru.
It was like catching-up with long lost friends with the crazy antics of Brain Space, The Dodgy Brothers, The Fair Cops, The Mormons and the wickedly funny music video send-ups (loved that Toyha Wilcox spoof).
So fans of this show...what are you waiting for? Hit up YouTube and have a well deserved laugh or 200!
