Sex & Nudity

  • Much of the film deals with homosexual themes and there are many scenes in Gay bars and clubs and much cross-dressing. There are scantily clad women as well in one cabaret scene.
  • A few scenes of men and women in bed, but sexual contact is only implied, not shown.
  • A cabaret singer performs a racy song and dance with a tearaway dress, and earlier rips open her coat to reveal her underwear. No real nudity.

Violence & Gore

  • Blood is visible on a club worker's head, after a riot. He has an ice pack over it.
  • Two characters visit a brief but bloody bare-knuckle boxing match. A woman punches a man and knocks his head to defend her friend's honor. A man gets into a bar-fight, and a riot breaks out at a club. All is played for laughs and is not terribly serious.

Profanity

  • Several uses of "damn", two uses of "sh!t", several bitch, two used as "son of a bitch", two uses of "fag/faggot", three uses of "queer" to describe a homosexual man.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A character lights and smokes a cigar and starts coughing.
  • constant use of alchohol, film takes place in bars/clubs/restaurants and hotel rooms where alcohol is almost always seen being consumed.
