Sex & Nudity

  • Sex is a constant theme, and there is some nudity too.
  • Two men are seen naked, bathing; you can see everything, including graphic genitals, pubic hair, buttocks, everything.
  • The protagonist has many pictures of naked women in his bedroom, and they are seen.
  • At the party near the start, many people are shown having sex; in one room is one half-undressed couple (we see the girl's bra), in another are several couples having sex (no nudity other than a boy's butt) but we do see them in sexual positions; and in the bathroom a couple having sex in the bathtub (we see the boy between the girl's bare legs, but no other nudity).
  • A boy and a girl briefly have sex in an alley during a riot; we see it from the waist-above and we hear unzipping, and then they thrust whilst standing up and they both moan; it is fairly brief though.
  • A boy has a picture of a model posing in underwear, and it is implied he masturbates over it.

Violence & Gore

  • Some strong gang violence.
  • A group of bikers violently shove a girl and beat up another boy; not much is shown.
  • A group of youths beat up one defenseless one, and his face is seen covered in blood and he cries out defenselessly. Some blood is seen smudging on the wall behind him.
  • Towards the middle of the film, there is a massive riot; hundreds of bikers and other youths break out into a fight, and many of them are seen with wooden planks and other weapons; policemen soon come along, and join in on the fighting. Some people are seen being beaten and bleeding heavily.
  • Other infrequent moderate hitting, etc.

Profanity

  • Very strong bad language is constant.
  • "Cunt" is said at least 14 times, often in offensive ways.
  • "Fuck" is said constantly; about 86 times.
  • "Shit" is used a few times.
  • A few racial comments, including characters complaining about the amount of black people around, and referring to them as "nig-nogs".
  • Several uses of "wanker".
  • Other milder words, such as "bastard", "damn", "hell", and "bloody", are used.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Drug abuse, especially pills, is a big theme.
  • Youths are seen taking, buying and discussing pills, referred to as "blues".
  • The youths break into a chemist and steal pills.
  • A couple take pills before kissing sexually.
  • A man is seen opening a secret compartment in a car to give pills to a youth.
  • Many scenes of smoking and drinking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The film follows the Mods and the Rockers in their teens and early to mid 20s causing havoc and starting brawls.
  • The ending scene can be upsetting for some.
  • The violence during the riots and fights may be intense for some.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The ending shows a scooter being thrown off but no sign of the main character following, could give thought of possible 'suicide' or 'harm' to character.
