Sex & Nudity

  • Two sex scenes. First one on-screen but only shows his rear end while thrusting. Second one is off-screen but the couple lie in bed together. Bare breasts are on-screen for a little while.

Violence & Gore

  • Fistfights throughout. Nothing too full on.
  • The movie is one of the first Australian movies to be rated R18+ and rightfully so. There is a lot of action violence with guns going off, lots of blood and a lot of fighting. These are all accompanied with good acting and a gritty, realistic documentary-feeling to it
  • Lots of extremely bloody shoot-outs.

Profanity

  • Uses of the F-Word,Sh*t is used frequently.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One of the main antagonists is smoking a cigarette in almost every scene he is in.
  • Occasional drinking throughout.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The final robbery scene is intense. A lot of blood and violence throughout the movie. The movie is shot in an old style, making it feel like a gritty documentary which makes it feel more real. The realistic, great acting accompanies this even further.
  • You never know who is going to turn on each other and it leads this right up to the end. Very intense movie.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is shot in the stomach with a shotgun. Lots of blood sprays and we see the aftermath close up. Very bloody with some intestines showing briefly
  • Two robbers are killed by one of their own. They are both blown away with a silenced pistol. Bloody bullet wounds are shown exploding from their torsos and blood pours out of one of their mouths. The man continues to shoot their bodys as they writhe in pain. Very graphic and realistic.
  • In the film's most infamous scene, the main antagonist has his little toe cut off with bolt cutters. The actual cutting is off-screen and se only see his foot in a pool of blood. A sickening crunch is heard during this. Very disturbing and cringe-inducing.
  • In the final scene, a shoot-out occurs in the business between workers and robbers. Lots of guns going off and fights occurring. Almost everyone is killed. Lots of bullet wounds and gushing blood. One man is shot in the head with blood spraying on the windows behind him. One man has a chair smashed over his head and is seen bleeding from the mouth afterwards.
  • At the end, Eric Jackson is killed. David unloads a whole chamber from a revolver into his chest. Lots of bloody bullet wounds, Eric bleeds from the mouth and blood sprays on the van behind him.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Two men open a can of beer each but are gunned down before they can consume it.
