Ten million in two hours!

Warning: Spoilers
In dollars that is, in this intense TV movie that is quite disturbing from the start. It's about a group of Ruthless World terrorists out to kidnap a billionaire, demanding $10 million in ransom be delivered in 2 hours, and even though it can't be done, they insist that it be done. To make it worse, they are in the operating room and that certainly puts the medical staff on edge as they stand there with rifles, threatening to kill every staff member if things don't go their way. Shots are fired quite quickly and one of the hospitals best surgeons is the first of the fatalities.

I can't stand movies like this, not because I find them bad but because the tension is sometimes overwhelming that it makes me feel frantic and tense. However, I can't rate a movie I can't stand on this level fairly, but can be in a film historian, you have to be able to injure every type of story. The cast is excellent, led by Loretta Swit, Vic Morrow, Peter Palmer, Sharon Acker, Cameron Mitchell and Bradford Dillman. The script is also fast-moving and obviously intends, and in spite of my feelings, I was gripped. I guess that makes it a good movie that you have to be prepared for. In other words, when you read the plot line of a film like this, make sure you are in the mood to be disturbed and emotionally distraught. Films like this are best not watched before you go to bed right after.
