Porn producer Olaf Reinström is totally obsessed with winning the Golden Banana at a forthcoming film festival for erotic movies. Thus he needs to produce something better than his genre rivals... That is the somewhat flimsy plot idea on which this film is based.
This is not a lot and the result is admittedly an utter mess. However, the film has surprisingly quite a few redeeming features. Redeeming for their sheer wackiness: Gary Duwner desperately clinging on to a huge banana in his dream, topless Ingrid Steeger being shot at with rubber projectiles from toy guns at a Danish fun fair, and especially that porn film set at which everybody speakes exclusively in rhymes, including the director rhyming "porno" with "niveau".
Notice: this should not be confused with the in many respects similar film "Golden Bananas".
