A joyful and fun Spanish comedy, being a perfect vehicle for this great Aragonés actor, Paco Martinez Soria

Paco Martinez show providing an enjoyable and charming performance as the friendly , kind parish pastor . Good-tempered Don Mariano, Paco Martinez Soria is a traditional parish priest from an atheist neighborhood in the Madrid outskirts , he then is demanded by his superior , Javier Loyola , to update himself to the modern times , being threatened to serve to a nun convent . That's why he asks for help a young priest , Padre Ramírez : Nogales , who teaches him new techniques to make for good audience at church . Then , Mariano makes a decision : to set up a living Belen and he gets even its TV broadcasting , as all the barrio citzens participate in the Christian impersonation .

An amusing and funny comedy with the great Paco Martinez Soria , containing good feeling , emotion, religious sentiment, hilarious set-pieces , fine interpretations , laughters , amusement and entertainment . It develops an attractive and really sensitive relationship between the good-natured priest and the reluctant villagers . This likable actor Paco Martínez Soria gives an agreeable and sympathetic acting as the old fashion priest from the poor neighborhood with plenty of revolutionary , communist and atheist people . He delivers an authentic recital and steals completely the show. Paco is well accompanied by a good support cast with full of familiar faces , such as : German Cobos , Rafael L Somoza, Manuel Alexandre, Julia Caba Alba , Erasmo Pascual, Iran Eory , Jesús Guzman, Valentín Tornos , Luis Marin and many others .

The picture was professionally directed by Jose Luis Saenz De Heredia . He was a prolific and famous writer and filmmaker who made a lot of movies during the Francist period . As he directed the polemic Raza written by Francisco Franco himself , El Destino se Disculpa , Bambú, Mariona Rebull , Las Aguas bajan negras , La Mies es Mucha , Faustina, Diez Fusiles Esperan, Don Juan . And several Spanish comedies as Historias de la Radio, La Verbena de la Paloma , El Taxi de los Conflictos , Juicio De Faldas , Pero en que país Vivimos , La Decente , Solo ante el Streaking and Don Erre que Erre again with Paco Martinez Soria. Rating 6.5/10 . Acceptable and passable religious comedy . The film will appeal to Paco Martinez Soria and Spanish comedy enthusiasts .
