Sex & Nudity

  • A man walks into a room full of women wearing nothing but bras and underwear. It is implied the man has sex with them but nothing is shown. (This scene lasts for about 30 seconds.)
  • In another scene the same man is implied to have sex with a woman. (again nothing is shown.)
  • A male character is implied to be obsessed with fat ladies because the man says he likes "Big birds". Later in the film he is shown being arrested with another woman. (Presumably because of some sexual act.)
  • A male character is implied to be a homosexual because he is referred to as "Camp"
  • A few innuendos.

Violence & Gore

  • A man claims (albeit only as a cover) that he has spent two years in India shooting tigers with a machine gun. This would be controversial today due to animal conservation issues.
  • Lots of car stunts, explosions etc.
  • At the beginning of the film we see a man driving a car, we then see him drive into a dark tunnel followed by a loud crash and flames. The man is obviously implied to been killed in the crash because we see a digger pick up the battered car with the man's body inside chucked down a cliff and into a river.
  • We briefly see a man beating up two men through a shadow silhouette.
  • The mafia threaten to kill Charlie and his group the same way they murdered the man as mentioned above.
  • A group of people hijack a van by beating the drivers with baseball bats and spraying them with hoses.
  • In the car chase, lots of people are nearly run over and the cars crash into things.

Profanity

  • 1 use of "muck it up" which is said indistinctly, and the imaginative may hear it as something else. However, the subtitles say "muck it up".
  • Frequent (but casual) uses of 'Bloody'
  • A few uses of 'Damn' and 'Hell'
  • 2 uses of 'Bastard' (1 said in Italian)
  • 1 'Motherf--kers' (barely heard)

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • People are seen smoking cigarettes. This film takes place when smoking was part of popular culture and the dangers of it weren't as widely known or appreciated.
  • A young boy is very briefly seen smoking.
  • At the end, men are seen opening cans of beer.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The opening scene where a man drives into a dark tunnel and crashes might startle younger viewers.
  • The car chase can be suspenseful.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Following the successful heist, the getaway bus is driven at high speed on twisting mountain roads. There are no seats in the bus a sit is being used to transport the stolen gold. None of the passengers are restrained and are thrown about in the bus as it turns the tight corners. The intensity builds as the driver takes greater and greater risks as the recklessness of his driving intensifies. The journey culminates in the driver losing control of the bus and leaving it balancing perilously over the edge of a mountain precipice.
  • At the end we see a group of men in a coach hanging on the edge of a cliff then the film ends (It's unknown what happens to them.)
