To be aware the powerful king of Chaila (Rafael Alonso) to spend holiday at a Costa Brava hotel, a revolutionary group hires a contract killer (Charles Stalmaker) , an expert on political assassination. At the same time, two crooks : Mike (Tony Leblanc) and Dory (Laura Valenzuela) dressed in Bonnie and Clyde style attempt to carry out a theft , as they're joined by a waiter (Alfredo Landa), learning the incognito King stays at the lush hotel and they then decide to rob the valuable jewels of the wealthy monarch . Along the way, the naughty king, who has a haren of 16 wives, is keen with a beautiful woman (Maria Silva), and attempts to kidnap her, then the jealous husband (Manolo Gomez Bur) fights to avoid it.

A typical Spanish comedy of the 60s, produced by Agata Films/Jose Luis Dibildos factory with likeable and attractive actors providing fun and excitement enough. Along with the known main actors giving sympathetic interpretations : Tony Leblanc, Alfredo Landa, Laura Valenzuela, Manolo Gomez Bur, appearing a motley group of prestigious secondaries, such as : Rafael Alonso, Francisco Piquer, Maria Silva, Tomas Blanco, Cris Huerta, Fernando Sanchez Polack and Noel Claraso who was film writer, as well. La Dinamita esta Servida 1968 results to be a funny and entertaining comedy with messes, frolics, hilarious sketches and amusement. There is a brief intrigue concerning the attempt to kill the king and about the robbing a precious jewelry at the hotel . In fact, most film is set at a luxurious hotel by the sea, in the sunny Costa Brava, including colorful cinematography by Manuel Rojas . Produced by Jose Luis Dibildos, married to Laura Valenzuela, in fact this great producer financed various films with these same actors as Lo Subdesarrollados, Una Vez al Año ser Hippy no hace Daño.

The picture was professionally directed by Fernando Merino, though it has a number of flaws, gaps and extremely ridiculous situations. Fernando Merino, brother of director Jose Luis Merino, made various films in all kinds of genres with penchant for comedy, such as : El Erotismo y la Informatica, Requien para un empleado, No Desearas la Mujer del Vecino, Turistas y bribones, Los Dias de Cabirio, Prestamela 15 Dias, El Padrino y sus ahijadas, La que armas las Mujeres, Los Subdesarrollados, Amor a la Española. Although he made also thriller as El Comisario G y el caso del Cabaret and Adventures as Dick Turpin and Curro Jimenez TV series . Rating : 5.5/10. Passable Spanish comedy for Alfredo Landa and Tony Leblanc fans.
