They're soothed by the music of Sonny and Cher, Jackie and Gayle, Sandy Nelson, and the Astronauts. By the time the movie ends, you feel as though you've gotten to know all the actors personally, and the bands have been playing in your living room all night.—alfiehitchie
- Adam Miller is attending Beach University in Florida. He's been given permission by a family friend, Captain Sullivan, to live at his nearby beach house while attending. The university is short of housing, but will only let students live off campus in locations that they have approved. Shortly before the semester is to start, Lee Sullivan, the captain's niece, arrives with a couple of her girlfriends to use the same beach house for the semester. It seems the captain recently died in a car crash and left the house to her. The title has quite cleared probate yet. Adam beats Lee into the permit application pool and gets a temporary certificate allowing them to occupy it. After a bit of negotiating, they agree to split the house with an "Iron Curtain" chain. One of the guys collects sounds and, with the help of one of the girls, manages to get a complaint sworn against them. When the university comes to investigate, they see a mixed gender residence. But the complaining neighbor negates that and decides to offer his house as a second residence for the semester.—Garon Smith
