Joselito in love
dbdumonteil22 April 2007
Could someone like Luigi Comencini have saved such a dud?He would probably not have agreed to work in Franco's Spain anyway.

Joselito is in love with Isabel but he is full of complexes! She is taller than he is!"You are turning into a man,the doc says,it's hard!".

Religion is here again with numerous invocations to the Virgin Mary .Isabel concludes with these words:"She is a miracle worker" .

Like in his other teenager movies,Joselito belongs to a chic family who puts their trust in God and who thinks that romantic readings such as Goethe's "Werther" can lead you to Hell!It makes a direct contrast to his first films where he always came from a poor background (but sometimes, found back his "true" milieu in the end).

Joselito, whose phenomenal child voice was long gone ,sings three or four songs but often with choirs or backing vocals.
