When The Banker (George Sanders) and Moll are robbed by the highwayman, the Banker's wig is stolen; however, upon arrival in London he is wearing it again.
In the opening scene where the orphanage superintendent is introducing all the girls in turn to the mayor & his wife Moll (played in this scene by Claire Ufland) has the most brilliant sapphire blue eyes, the mayors wife even comments on them when everyone laughs at Moll wanting to grow up to be "a gentlewoman sir" when questioned by the mayor, "And who's to say she won't be, with those eyes".
However, by some genetic miracle by the next scene, which judging by the book would have been around eight or ten years later Moll (now being played by Kim Novak) has brown eyes.
The tavern where Moll causes a brawl appears to have a version of Manet's painting 'Olympia' on the wall, over a hundred years before he painted it.
