- A man is beaten up by a group of gamblers for cheating. He is seen with a bloody nose.
- Two men chase another man and beat him to death (a gravestone hides this act from the viewer). His body is shown swollen and with scars (not graphic).

- Some men drink something, possibly sake, to celebrate their victory in the gang war. The main character knocks a bowl out of a man's hand and cuts the sake barrel in half.
