Dramatic and moving film that develops the tragic events of two soldiers belonging on both sides during the Spanish Civil War 1936-1939 , resulting in a catching message of solidarity , reconciliation and redemption .The film is set in Spanish Civil War on the Aragon front , a hard fight carried out by two extremely fighter armies : the Nationalist troops led by General Francisco Franco and Republican ones led by General Rojo and Negrin . It deals with Juan (Manuel Gallardo) and Andrés (Fernando Cebrián) met during a bloody battle . One is Republican and the otherFrancoist . While happens bombing and destruction , the Republican soldier takes refuge in a rural house with another person who is also hiding . After a violent stand-off , the surviving men arrive in a lonely rural house inhabited by three women (the pregnant Montserrat Julió , the young Amparo Baró and grandmother María Zaldivar) , but then things go wrong .
