ma-cortes14 April 2019
The film deals with a nun convent at the end of the 19th century inhabited by good-natured inmates , as while celebrating the onomastics of their Mother Superior , they are disturbed when at their door appears a baby. Then, the good nuns : Lina Rosales, Lina Yegros, Tota Alba... take her, and care along the years . The baby will be named Teresa . They all receive the usual visit from a doctor, Don José : Antonio Garisa, a good man who watches the health of the nuns . Despite being single he offers to adopt legally and give the abandoned baby as a pupil to the cloistered convent . When she , Soledad Miranda, is eighteen year old, falls in love for a young engineer, Jaime Abellan, but shortly after , things go wrong , as there shows up the jealous girlfriend , Katia Loritz .

Enjoyable film about a group of nuns find a left baby girl at the doorstep of their convent . Based on a popular play by Gregorio Martinez Sierra, it is an acceptable and decent fim with human values, good feeling and sense of love and family. Stars Soledad Miranda who is gorgeous as a gullible girl who falls for a young suitor and facing off his fianceé Katia Loritz. Soledad is considered to be a cult actress, playing for Jesus Franco a lot of films , such as : Eugenie, Sex charade , She killed in ecstasy , Vampyres Lesbos , Devil came from Akasava, Count Dracula, until her early death by car accident. The cast and support cast are pretty good , such as : Antonio Garisa the atheist doctor , Lina Rosales, Lina Yegros, , Katia Loritz , Rosita Yarza, Carlota Bilbao, Maria Navarro, Aníbal Vela , Mary Paz Pondal and a very young Marisa Paredes.
