- Lots of cleavage. Several characters shown are streetwalkers or prostitutes who are seen waiting on the street and soliciting customers as men walk by.

- A dentist is stabbed with a dental instrument, we see some blood.
- A man is run over by a train and killed; the moment of impact is not shown however.
- We see Seymour feed the man to a plant, we see him take out the arm and feed it (a chunk of flesh is shown falling out of the stump). This is very unrealistic
- A bank robber gets eaten by the plant, thinking there's money in it.
- Seymour is chased by a few people trying to kill him. Gunshots are fired but he doesn't get shot.
