At the beginning of the movie (11:17) South Hemis has launched a rocket going to a space station carrying two astronauts. One of them is Dr Albert Gordon. Dr Gordon's wife Ruth also works on the project at ground control. Just after the launch Ruth is shown writing in what is likely a log book and at the top of the page the header reads North Hemis Space Agency instead of South Hemis.
Near the end, when the North and South Hemis astronauts are launching from the asteroid that orbits Mars to return to Earth, you can clearly see the railings of a launch pad. There were no launch pads on the asteroid.
In the re-edited U.S. version under the title "Battle Beyond the Sun" the same dolly shot of women waving is used twice. The first is when the rocket is landing back on Earth. Only minutes later, when the cosmonauts have left the rocket, the exact same shot is used again.
The shot of a rocket with a Russian red star on the fin taking off is used 2-3 times for economy.
