¨Todos Somos Necesarios¨ is an enjoyable picture about redemption , faith , sacrifice and solidarity . It deals with a group of passengers on a train , and a lot of incidents happen aboard . After serving their sentence , three ex-convicts , a doctor named Julián Martínez Valdés (Alberto Closas) , a civil servant (Ferdinand Anton) and a thief (Folco Lulli) abandon prison . During the train trip they do together to return home , they analyze their stern lives . Later on , the doctor has been required to perform an operation on an ill kid left by his father , a ruthless millionaire who has a lover aboard . As the unfortunate doctor will have to decide whether to stay quiet or to undergo surgery .

This is an acceptable film with fine sets by Enrique Alarcon and thanksgivings to RENFE providing the wagons , though lousy train scale models ; and well directed by Jose Antonio Nieves Conde , a director of great quality and with penchant for social denounce .
