- Elmer Fudd is a farmer in Indiana, who discovers Bugs rooting around in his carrot patch. After Bugs upstages him once again, he calls Acme Pest Control and asks for help. He is informed that the company manufactures "a wobot pest contwoller with an ewectwonic bwain", and he requests one be sent to his house.
Elmer sets the robot up and programs it to capture a rabbit. However, the robot mistakes a donkey for a rabbit (since it also has long ears), and shoots it with a weapon in its arm. After it mistakenly shoots Elmer as well, it spots Bugs, and starts chasing him, punching him in the face with a boxing glove in its arm.
After some time, Bugs chases the robot under a running water sprinkler. The sprinkler causes the robot to rust and become inactive. A frustrated Elmer restores the robot with oil, and warns it that if it fails to capture Bugs, he will sell it "for old scrap iron". The robot pursues Bugs again, but loses track of him. Bugs emerges from a shed, disguised as a female robot. The robot immediately expresses its love for Bugs, and sweeps him up in its arms. While Bugs smooth-talks the robot, he opens its rear panel and throws a wrench inside, causing it to malfunction and fall apart.
The robot manages to repair itself, and chases Bugs again. This time, Bugs leads the robot to a construction site, where it chases him right underneath an operational pile driver. Later, Elmer is pacing in his house, wondering how his robot is doing. At that moment, Bugs opens the door, asking, "Does this answer your question?" He then pours the wrecked remains of the robot onto the floor, to Elmer's horror. Bugs walks off, remarking, "Some day these scientists are going to invent something that will outsmart a rabbit." Iris out.
