- When newcomers Whip and Bob break up a saloon fight they are made town Marshals. This puts then in the middle of the range war between large ranch owner Howard and the small ranchers. Everyone thinks Howard is the culprit but Whip believes otherwise.—Maurice VanAuken <mvanauken@a1access.net>
- Whip Wilson and his friend Bob Burke, two cowhands looking for work, ride into Willows, Wyoming just after the sheriff has been killed by Wyatt. Young Jack Craven is taunted into a fight by Wyatt, but Whip intercedes and puts a whipping on Wyatt. A committee composed of rancher Earl Craven, Jack's father; town merchant Randolph; rancher Clark; saloon owner Franklin and others hire Whip and Bob as deputy sheriffs. The latter two are told by the committee that local rancher Bill Howard is hiring gunmen to drive out the other ranchers and was behind the killing of the sheriff. Howard himself, and his daughter Terry, believe he himself is the victim of such a plot. Whip brings Craven and Howard together, and decides that a third party (or parties) may be responsible. This being a Silvermine production from Vincent M. Fennelly that has a Fennelly trademark---a very short cast list---Whip starts to check out the people who hired him.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
