Hey, "Bold And The Beautiful" fans. Today's November 9,2017 episode really delivered some very interesting storylines. We can see that Bill definitely has his eyes on Steffy after really admiring how understanding she has been towards him through all of this madness. And I don't know about you guys, but it seems like Liam might really be falling for Sally if he's willing to go ahead and tell Steffy he kissed her. He might subconsciously be looking to sabotage his marriage or he's just dumb as hell. It's one or the other. We're definitely sure about that. As for tomorrow's November 10,2017 episode, CBS recently revealed some pretty interesting-sounding storyline teasers for it. Well, at least one of them is. The other sounds like a total rerun of stuff we've already seen. The first teaser reveals that Steffy will be doing the same thing she's been doing for the past two or so months.

Hey, "Grey's Anatomy" fans. We've got some very interesting new casting news for you guys in regards to this current season 14. Recently, the folks over at Entertainment Weekly put out a new article revealing that the show has hired former"One Tree Hill" actress Bethany Joy Lenz. If any of you were "One Tree Hill" fans, you'll remember her as the one who played character Haley James Scott on that show. Entertainment Weekly pointed out that this new casting comes just after they got rid of season regular Martin Henderson aka Dr. Nathan Riggs. Bethany is scheduled to just be a guest character on Grey's Anatomy. So, it doesn't sound like she'll be sticking around for long. She might come in and do an arc that spans a few episodes and then head out. But, who knows? Anything can happen. She might stick around the whole season if they decide its better for the show.

“Revenge!” cried Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund as he recalled winning the Cannes Palme d’Or for “The Square” (Magnolia) last May. While the red-haired provocateur has an impish sense of humor —one early DVD touted “the best Swedish movie of the year” on the back cover, and on the inside, “the worst Swedish movie of the year” — his films steer audiences into uncomfortable places, forcing them to look at themselves in unflattering close-up.
That’s why Östlund is used to fielding a range of reactions to his movies. “It’s pointless if I communicate something and everyone agrees,” he told IndieWire. “Since my first movie, I have been dealing with ‘provoke food.'” (That’s Östlund for “food for thought.”)

Warning: The following contains spoilers for Thursday’s Grey’s Anatomy.
Thursday’s Grey’s Anatomy wasn’t just a biggie for Nathan and Megan, who began their new life together with Farouk in Malibu. It was also huge for Owen, who not only ended his marriage to Amelia but loosened his vise-like grip on his plans for the future. All of a sudden, he’s free — and so, in a way, is portrayer Kevin McKidd, who tells TVLine, “I’m having a lot of fun getting to play that side of Owen.

Stars: Jamie Foxx, Michelle Monaghan, Scoot McNairy, David Harbour, Dermot Mulroney | Written by Andrea Berloff | Directed by Baran bo Odar
The English-language debut of Swiss director Baran bo Odar delivers nothing of what we want, namely: half-decent action, interesting characters, witty writing, or surprising plot deviations.
Jamie Foxx plays Vegas cop Vincent Downs, whom we first meet in the throes of a violent robbery. He’s stealing a whole bunch of cocaine, which belongs to a casino owner named Rubino (Dermot Mulroney). Problem is, Rubino himself owes it to fearsome gangster Novak (Scoot McNairy), who in turn is in thrall to his megalomaniac father.
After his son is kidnapped by Rubino’s thugs, Downs tries to return the drugs. But he is confounded by Internal Affairs partners Bryant (Michelle Monaghan) and Dennison (David Harbour); suspecting corruption, they step in to disrupt the deal. But in doing so they instigate a sleepless night of fighting,...

One of the more eye-popping scenes in Ruben Östlund’s new film The Square occurs when a monkey strolls around the apartment belonging to Elisabeth Moss’s character and proceeds to start using her make-up before being discreetly shut out of an intimate bed scene.

So why the monkey, which is never explained in the film? In his encounter with the media today (20 May), Östlund was in jocular mood, saying “Anything can happen in a movie when suddenly a monkey puts in appearance in an apartment. There are numerous laugh out load moments in The Square, Ruben Ostland's satirical Cannes competition title that has its world premiere Saturday. But one of the film's more peculiar scenes involves a monkey that randomly appears – without any form of introduction and discussion – in Elizabeth Moss' character's apartment.
"Anything can happen in a movie when suddenly a monkey appears in an apartment," said Ostland, who last came to Cannes two years ago with Force Majeure. "I love monkeys. Even pop-rock goddess Gwen Stefani still gets the pre-show jitters!
The "Misery" singer tells Et that she can certainly relate to her Team Gwen artists on The Voice as they continue live elimination rounds on the show.

This much we know after two years in Minnesota: Choosing to embark on a new season of “Fargo” is akin to inviting tragedy unto yourself. Each year, the opening disclaimer originated by the Coen Brothers in their 1996 film promises bodies: “This is a true story… At the request of the survivors… Out of respect for the dead…” And each year we’ve come to love and lose characters within a very short amount of time. You know what you’re getting yourself into, even if — like the UFOs in Season 2 — you can never predict exactly what you’ll see.

I fell asleep trying to watch La La Land and the odds of me giving it another chance are directly proportional to whether or not my parents want to watch it when I'm visiting them. Julia Ducournau never asked for this. When the now-33-year-old French writer-director was plotting out her feature debut, she wanted to make a movie that spoke frankly about a woman's place in the world. "Female bodies portrayed on our screens and in our society [are] always either sexualized to please men or glamorized to set expectations for women," she says, her voice quickening on the phone. "No one can relate to that — we are only building up fantasies about the female body.

Star Wars is one of the biggest — if not the biggest — franchises in film history and they have certainly left their mark on the Academy Awards. One of the most consistent categories these space operas have popped up in throughout the years is the best visual effects category, with only one of the films not making the cut between the ceremonies of 1978 and 2017 to varying success. Let’s take a look back at how well the eight installments have done in terms of wowing us with optic splendor.
We have to start with the most recent, just for the sake that it’s currently in contention. That brings us to the Gareth Edwards-directed Rogue One: A Star Wars Story which is nominated in for best visual effects alongside Deepwater Horizon, Doctor Strange, The Jungle Book, and Kubo and the Two Strings.

When last we tuned into The CW’s The Flash, Barry Allen (played by Grant Gustin) had seemingly sent steely Savitar packing — only to then tumble into a near-future where the “speed god” brutally slays Iris (Candice Patton).
As such, “saving” Iris from that possible fate is foremost on Barry’s mind when Season 3 resumes this Tuesday at 8/7c. During the holiday break, I’ve teased you with bits and bites from co-showrunner Aaron Helbing; here now is our (mostly) complete midseason preview Q&A.

The Oscar race in the best makeup and hairstyling category is heating up — and there’s one potential nominee that deserves a little more attention than the others: A Man Called Ove, the Swedish submission for best foreign language film. We’ve already heard that the second half of the show’s third season will revolve around the Scarlet Speedster’s quest to stop that from happening, and now more details about this particular story arc have been revealed.

“Obviously Barry loves Iris more than anything, and now that he has gotten a glimpse of the future, the thrust of the back half of the season is Barry trying to do whatever it takes to save her.

Kriv Stenders on-set..
More than five years since the original, the team behind 2011.s Red Dog have reunited for a sequel, Red Dog: True Blue — that.s actually a prequel.
Given the fate of the first film.s lead characters, that.s a canny move, though not one driven by box office, according to producer Nelson Woss. .
.There's a tight-knit team of the people behind Red Dog, and we wanted to try and find another film. [Writer] Daniel Taplitz suggested this concept which was almost like a reboot, or an origin story, that allowed us to go back and explore themes that were really interesting to [director] Kriv [Stenders] and I, because we both have young kids...
That idea, of going back to the 60.s, firmed up around two and a half years ago, says Stenders.

Certain Women is an ensemble piece that features Laura Dern, Michelle Williams, and Kristen Stewart in prominent roles, and so it’s a surprise when the runaway success may be Lily Gladstone, a relative newcomer most prominently seen in Arnaud Desplechin’s Jimmy P. and this year’s Buster’s Mal Heart — the latter of which has yet to even receive a theatrical release. While one can ascertain certain things about her character, Jamie, from the moment her face enters the frame, the actress imbues numerous instances of silence and, in the case of interactions with Stewart’s Beth, romantic longing with something that’s hard to pin down precisely because of evident authenticity. If those feeling really are so complicated, why should a cinematic representation be any less?

Getting a grasp on “Atlanta” is no easy feat, but that unsettling nature is the show’s intent. The new FX comedy effortlessly drifts from goofy and dreamy to stark and downright frightening, and the man behind it all is Hiro Murai. The director had collaborated with Donald Glover on music videos released under the name Childish Gambino, and now has followed the comedian to television.
“It’s obviously a different format,” Murai told IndieWire in an interview. “Even in the narrative format I’ve done, we’ve never had extensive scripted dialogue scenes and whatnot. But it felt like a natural extension of what Donald and I have done in the past. So in that sense it was a really nice, seamless transition.”

Anything can happen on live television. Ryan Lochte learned that the hard way after protesters ambushed the stage on Dancing With the Stars Monday. The two men—later identified by the Lapd as Barzeen Soroudi, 25, and Sam Sotoodeh, 59—wore white T-shirts with a "no" symbol over Lochte's last name. The pair jumped onstage from the audience after the Olympian's foxtrot with pro partner Cheryl Burke. The camera stayed on judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who repeatedly told the attackers to "back off." Soon after, a Twitter user later uploaded cell phone footage that showed one of the protesters stepping between host Tom Bergeron and the camera. Good Morning America aired similar footage...

Coming off her critically praised debut (A Girl Walks Alone At Midnight), Ana Lily Amirpour’s sophomore effort – The Bad Batch – proves that uninhibited cinematic exploration is far from dead. Instead of arthouse black-and-whites, this time Amirpour transports audiences to a dusty desert dystopia where only the worst of the worst survive.
Acid-tinged dreaming paves hallucinogenic roads to laser-soaked raves, while searing sunbeams create hazy waves that distort the daytime’s burnt, sandy landscape. Amirpour is a scenic genius who squeezes every last ounce of personality out of her locations, as she builds an impoverished favela out of vagrants, abandoned buildings and boombox-themed DJ trucks that bump beats long into the moonlit night. In only her second feature, Amirpour delivers the invigorating mainstream abandon we so hoped she’d brandish – it’d just be better with a more substantial story to support such untamed creativity.

Quinn’s alive, Carrie’s still out of the CIA and production on “Homeland” Season 6 has yet to even begin.
Series co-creator Alex Gansa, producer and star Claire Danes and co-star Mandy Patinkin all took part in “Homeland’s” Television Critics Association press tour panel Thursday afternoon, discussing what’s to come for Rupert Friend’s character, Quinn, as well as the relevancy of a New York setting during a D.C. presidential race.
“Quinn is alive, I can say that much,” Gansa said. “He suffered a major stroke last season and his very existence was in question. […] You’re going to see a very changed and altered Quinn this year.”
“I think Quinn, this coming season, will really represent a very profound and familiar casualty of the war on terror for our audience. What he endured last year is different than what he’ll go through this year.”

Meeting with reporters Sunday to promote Season 3 of Amazon’s “Transparent,” Jay Duplass also shared some tidbits about “Room 104” — the new series he and his brother Mark are producing for HBO.
As announced last week, “Room 104” is an anthology series set inside a hotel room. Different characters pass through it in each episode.
Duplass revealed to IndieWire that the show would be set in a corporate hotel located near the Cleveland airport. “It’s the most boring place, the most boring location,” he said. “Just a corporate, $100 hotel outside of the airport.”
Why such a nondescript locale? “What we’re interested in mining is the magic in the mundane,” he said. “That is something that we have always worked on in our filmmaking. We find regular life to be really special and we like to go deep and find the intricacies there.”

Flamboyant artist Ken Russell was eventually sidelined for what the industry calls 'excess,' but he was a genuine artist, as indicated by this, his last American film. Anything can happen at a wedding. It’s a big, formal gathering of family and friends that typically involves a great deal of eating, drinking, and being merry. So, it’s no surprise that there are countless wedding movies, both comedic and dramatic.
Another wedding movie hits theatres this Friday in the form of Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. It’s the story of two hard-partying brothers that recruit two seemingly normal girls to be their dates for a family wedding in Hawaii. Of course, the brothers get more than they bargained for with their dates, who give them a run for their money when it comes to wild partying.
Adam Devine, Zac Efron, Anna Kendrick, and Aubrey Plaza star as the brothers and their respective dates, along with the always-funny Jake Johnson and Kumail Nanjiani.
There’s no denying that we’re a sucker for big screen weddings.

Actress Radha Mitchell is no stranger to the world of horror. She broke into the genre with Pitch Black in 2000, and since then, Mitchell has starred in films such as Phone Booth, Silent Hill, Surrogates, and The Crazies (2010), as well as her latest project, The Darkness, which has her re-teaming with director Greg McLean (who she previously collaborated with on Rogue, an excellent killer croc movie).
In The Darkness, Mitchell co-stars alongside Kevin Bacon, David Mazouz and Lucy Fry as a mother struggling to keep her family together after a sinister force invades their home, adding to the stresses she and her brood are already working their way through. During a recent press day, Daily Dead had the opportunity to speak with Mitchell about her involvement in The Darkness, working again with McLean, and more.

A new X-Men: Apocalypse trailer has arrived to punch you in the face with its action pieces and a Coldplay cover.
The new film puts Professor X (James McAvoy) and his team through their greatest trial yet when they come face to face with the ancient and invincible Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) and finds them locked in all-out mutant warfare.
Anything can happen in the X-Men universe since the timeline changed in Days of Future Past, which will make for a better viewing experience I imagine since we can’t be sure everyone’s going to make it out alive. Well, we know that Professor X, Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Beast are fine, but everyone else could die. They won’t, but they could.
The film opens May 27th, and also stars Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee,...

Photo by Donnacha Kenny"Congratulations, Tom; you're one of the lucky eight per cent!" —Stir of Echoes (1999)Joliet, Illinois is probably the American city which more people have dreamed more fervently of escaping than any other. But after spending four hours in 'Prison Town'—long synonymous far and wide with incarceration—I was sad to leave; I'll be glad one day to return. Fortunately, such matters are questions of personal choice. Many of the area's residents, including those not serving custodial sentences, have little realistic option but to remain—trapped by personal, social and/or economic circumstances that can feel as confining as any 6-by-8 cell. "Joliet, or "J-Town", is racially diverse and is known as a crime-ridden city, although the area has shown much improvement since the 1990's... The east side is generally known as the ghetto side and the west side is known as middle class, even though...

Just ask Survivor alum and People blogger Stephen Fishbach; to this day, he still gets messages from Monday morning quarterbacks telling him what he did wrong on both seasons that he played.
But in reality, only the show's 478 contestants truly understand what it takes to play Survivor: the starvation, the elements, the psychological torture.

Writer/director Richard Bates Jr. and AnnaLynne McCord first came together several years ago to create Excision—the haunting tale of a young woman’s obsession with surgery that takes a tragic turn—which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. The duo have returned to Park City this year for their latest collaboration, Trash Fire, which recently celebrated its debut as part of Sundance’s stellar Midnight selections.
Trash Fire follows Owen (Adrian Grenier), a troubled 20-something who wants to reconnect with his family—and his sister Pearl (McCord) in particular—after he learns some life-altering news from his longtime girlfriend (Angela Trimbur) and realizes he needs to atone for his past mistakes.
Daily Dead had the opportunity to catch up with both Bates Jr. and McCord during the festival to hear more about their experiences collaborating together on this personal tale of redemption and dealing with your demons. Bates Jr.

Whenever you deal with time travel in a narrative, things can quickly spin out of control. So after heavily featuring the concept in X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer and writer Simon Kinberg are now having to explain where the story picks up in this summer's sequel X-Men: Apocalypse (it's set in 1983, continuing from the events of the '70s as depicted in the previous film) and how the plot isn't necessarily heading in the direction some might think. Kingberg told Collider:
“It’s not leading necessarily toward exactly where we found Patrick Stewart and the X-Men at the beginning of X-Men 1. There are some things that lead in that general direction, that was part of the philosophy we had at the end of Days of Future Past is that you can’t fully change the course or current of the river, but you can just divert it a little bit,...
